After a Cannes premiere, Arco directed by Ugo Bienvenu shines at Annecy where it won the Cristal Award for a Feature Film and the SACEM Award for Best Original Soundtrack in a Feature Film 🏆

In our interview, director Ugo Bienvenu shares how his animated feature, a vibrant tale of time travel, friendship, and hope, came to life.

Blending his passions for illustration, comics, and animation, Ugo Bienvenu imagines a luminous future through the story of Arco, a boy from a utopian tomorrow accidentally landing in the chaotic year 2075, and his bond with Iris, a 10-year-old girl from our time.

With voices by Louis Garrel, Vincent Macaigne, Alma Jodorowsky, Oxmo Puccino & more, Arco is, in Ugo’s words, “a big hug” and we could all use one.
